Job Description

The EUAF region in Fugro is transforming to achieve even greater growth and has a deep commitment to the learning and development of our employees. As a key player in the EUAF HR management team (HRMT), and reporting to the Head of HR EUAF, with a functional line to the Global head of Learning, you will be responsible for the regional learning function and will serve as a strategic advisor to proactively investigate learning business needs. You collaborate with regional senior management, regional HRMT and the Global Learning Advisors to help implement learning programs through communication and marketing. You implement global solutions and initiatives in the regional as well as act as a learning champion and change agent for a strong learning culture.

Your role

  • You partner with regional senior management to select and localize learning and development programs that are scalable to the needs of the region in alignment with global and regional business needs. You work closely with the business to ensure employee technical competence is measured, monitored and compliant with industry standards and business expectations. You identify skills gaps and instigate trainings to bridge the gap;

  • In partnership with regional leadership and key stakeholders, you support Fugro’s strategic objectives by fostering a learning culture, ensuring that EUAF delivers L&D initiatives to the highest standards; encouraging open mindsets, knowledge improvements and shared learnings;

  • You communicate regional business and employee needs with the global team and ensure that learning strategy, initiatives and priorities are in alignment;

  • You promote regional learning offerings and drive adoption and impact by regularly communicating and marketing available learning opportunities to the business and employees;

  • Working closely with the Global Learning Team, you act as the regional spokesperson for all learning and development curricula ensuring two way communication in line with business goals;

  • You oversee training budgets and forecast regional L&D spend;

  • Taking cultural differences into account, you continuously measure and analyse L&D effectiveness by making data driven improvements.

Your track record

  • You bring progressive and extensive experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, talent management, L&D or related field;

  • You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree;

  • You are fluent in in English;

  • Project management, stakeholder management, change management, learning data & analytics are topics that you are well versed in;

  • You have prior experience in working in an international environment.
