Fugro has acquired 100% of the shares of GEOTER SAS, a specialty Geoconsultancy company with a team of highly skilled consulting geoscientists recognised for their expertise in geology, earthquake hazard and risk assessment, and applied GIS and spatial analysis. The company has its main offices based near Montpellier in France and employs around 30 employees.
GEOTER has an excellent reputation and strong client base in the nuclear, mining and engineering markets. The company operates in French speaking markets world wide and will support the group in the areas of their strengths. The acquisition builds on Fugro’s strategy to provide its clients with fully-integrated geo-solutions. |
