Job Description
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Administrator to join Fugro in our established Australian operations. Based in our brand new lab in Balcatta, you will be working in a small team environment and reporting directly to the Lab Operation Manager. Your duties will include:
Provide administrative assistance in preparing laboratory documents and editing reports, drafts, and memos, supporting the Lab Operation Manager in ensuring smooth communication with internal & external stakeholders;
Support regional Quality and Program Manager/Lead in updating personnel competency and quality register of laboratory documents;
Assist the laboratory operation Team Leads in arranging and tracking samples and equipment/transducer transportation between laboratories and other sites as well as maintain various laboratory equipment registers;
Operate our ERP system (IFS) for invoicing, inventory management, and data entry to streamline laboratory processes in support of both local and regional level;
Provide Ad Hoc assistance to the Operation Manage for day to day lab operations (including obtaining quotes from suppliers for equipment and consumables).

The team plays a vital role in driving the success of innovative projects, particularly in the offshore windfarm sector, contributing to the development of groundbreaking ventures in the market.

About You
Your success in securing this role will require:
Qualifications or tertiary certificates in Administration or Secretary or relevant experience in general administration or similar roles is desirable;
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint;
Strong communication skills, ability to interface with stakeholders from different levels;
Strong set of basic administration skills, operating standard office equipment and an enthusiasm to learn from other team members.
