A Photogrammetry Specialist is someone who specializes in the field of photogrammetry, which is the science and technology of making measurements from photographs. They typically work with specialized software and hardware to analyze and interpret photographic images in order to create accurate 3D models, maps, measurements, or other spatial data.

POSITION REQUIREMENT - 1
• Bachelor’s degree in geospatial sciences or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Requires 3 years experience in specific mapping science (photogrammetry, aerotriangulation, accuracy standards, coordinate systems/datums, etc.)
• Minimum of three years’ work experience with at least one of these department related software (i.e. XPro, Inpho, or SimActive, etc.)
• Thorough and comprehensive technical understanding of aerotriangulation, and relevant industry accuracy standards. Work experience with either frame/push broom sensors.
• Past experience with multi-month project intricacies (i.e. single or multi-block Aerotriangulation, control measurement, tie-point selection, bundle adjustment, and accuracy assessment etc. for large projects)
• Must have a working knowledge of the Windows operating system and be comfortable with Microsoft Office products of Word, and Excel

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 2
• Bachelor’s degree in geospatial sciences or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Requires three years’ experience with orthoimagery production (color balancing, ortho rectification, ortho mosaic and seamline editing, etc.)
• Minimum of three years’ work experience with one of these department related software (i.e. XPro, Inpho OrthoVista, SimActive, etc.). Minimum one year experience with Photoshop/Gimp.
• Minimum of one year work experience with one of the GIS related software (ArcPro, Global Mapper, QGIS, etc.)
• Thorough and comprehensive technical understanding of ortho imagery production (color balancing, DSM auto correlation, orthorectification, seamline editing, and photo editing), ortho accuracy and quality assessments, and relevant industry standards. Work experience with either frame or push broom sensors. Familiar with the commonly used ortho data formats (GeoTiff / MrSID / JPEG / ECW formats)
• Past experience with multi-month project intricacies (i.e. multi-flight color balancing corrections for seamless product, technical and workflow management for large projects)
• Must have a working knowledge of the Windows operating system and be comfortable with Microsoft Office products of Word, and Excel

·      Have excellent and effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

·      Strong working knowledge of the mapping discipline, standards, and capabilities to solve problems and effectively assist lower-level specialists.

·      Ability to comprehend client requirements and translate those requirements into deliverable work products.

·      Ability to see beyond the responsibility of a single department or entity to complement a “Company of One” philosophy.

HSE Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so
