As the Global Manager Operational Technology Services, you will be at the helm of our Operational Technology and remote operations landscape. Your mandate includes shaping long-term strategies, optimizing Operational Technology services, ensuring performance excellence and fostering innovation. Your role
You lead and develop the long-term Operational Technology Services and Support strategies aligned with Fugro business goals to accelerate remote operations;
Within Operational Technology, you are responsible for designing, installing, deploying, maintaining and retiring systems, services, technologies and data communication infrastructure to meet both Fugro and customer defined service levels in a global 24/7 context;
You provide transparency and challenge availability, performance and quality of Operational Technology related deployment, life cycle management and break-fix processes by regularly monitoring performance and financials;
You report on the delivery of Operational Technology Services on the agreed and yet to be determined measurement data at service or expectation level;
You establish, enforce and monitor adherence to a limited stack Operational Technology standards, policies and regulations and provide the best practices. This includes establishing, writing, distributing industry standard governance principles and enforcing the governance that’s already in place;
You manage, lead, support, challenge and empower a multi-cultural team of professionals both hierarchical as well as functional on remote locations. You make sure they have the required expertise, skills and services provisioning whilst fostering team engagement, performance and retention thresholds;
You draft business plans and cases in preparation and planning of budgets as well as ensuring efficiencies and challenging delivery of the value-add of all activities. This includes advising colleagues and executive management on financial decisions;
You establish strong partnerships with and provide guidance to relevant Fugro leaders and Operational Technology teams. You also foster commercial relationships with vendors of choice and align clear expectations for services (SLA/OLA).
Your track record
You have a Masters degree in either Business or a Technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years experience in leading, driving, managing and transforming complex functions in a global 24/7 services provisioning context. There is a strong preference for experience in a Marine / offshore environment;
You have a minimum of 10 years experience in managing complicated, high impact projects executed by contractors, vendors or other 3rd party service providers;
You have proven experience in remote operations environments with large volume and latency critical data transfers;
You have excellent skills in leading, influencing and inspiring cross functional and multi-cultural teams across various geographic on site and offshore locations to work as a team;
You have experience in forecasting, budgeting and financially controlling both ‘business as usual’ operations and projects;
You are a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate cross-functions.
