Job Responsibilities:

1.Ensures accurate and timely processing of accounts payables/salary journals in line with all aspects of compliance and relevant responsibilities in the Finance Shared Service Center process model, including processing cash and bank transactions.

2. Establishing and maintaining accounting and fiscal policies and controls

3. preparing VAT declaration and WHT returns.

4.Acts as key point of contact to all suppliers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance. Advanced degree or professional certification or working towards one (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.

  • Proven experience (4-5years minimum) in accounts payable, preferably in a shared services or similar environment.

  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and relevant accounting standards.

  • Experience in leading and managing a team.

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

HSE Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so
