Your strong industrial experience is crucial to help us take the next steps into our journey to push the boundaries of technological development. You take on a leading role in the optimization of our global architecture that encompasses teams from Oslo to Houston. Our ideal candidate brings in work experience in similar international organizations and navigates easily within multicultural environments. By interacting with customers and our sales team, you know actually what our clients need and create value by translating these into technical requirements.

This role is for the GNSS experts out there that are up for a new challenge in a highly innovating and dynamic environment.

Role

  • You take on the responsibility of technical leadership and management of various GNSS-related software development: from embedded libraries to server-based software and from application to research software;

  • You collect business requirements by interacting with costumers and sales, you translate these requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with business product owners and technical project managers;

  • You are responsible for the development, optimization and maintaining of overall architecture of a global system that includes software running on different servers at various locations around the globe as well as client software for precise localization of marine, land, and space objects;

  • You coordinate the development between different stakeholders, from R&D, business development and marketing and sales;

  • You contribute to the definition and design of new products.

Your track record

  • You have a master’s degree in technical sciences, a PhD is considered a plus;

  • You showcase deep technical knowledge of GNSS and PPP;

  • You have 15+ years of industrial experience in system/software development of which 3+ years in a position as Principal System Engineer or similar;

  • Excellent communication skills in English and proven ability to collaborate across functions and organisational levels (business management, project management, stakeholders);

  • You have the ability to learn quickly in combination with the ability to grasp sophisticated software systems and the research heavy technology behind them;

  • You have working knowledge of different development methodologies, such as Agile and V-model;

  • Experience in working in QA/QM environments, ideally automotive or civil aviation, is a strong plus;

  • Experience in working with remote teams is a plus.
