Job Description

As an Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in Fugro’s operational efficiency by spearheading the seamless integration of Applications, critical to our business processes. You are end-to-end responsible for the design and implementation of crucial integrations and API’s that facilitate the flow of data between software applications used globally within Fugro.

As a senior DevOps engineer you will lead the design, build, and delivery of solutions, ensuring the consistency of information across our enterprise systems. By monitoring performance metrics and advising both IT and Business management, you ensure effective support and cost control measures. Overall, your professional efforts are pivotal in streamlining our processes, improving decision-making and fostering continuous improvement across Fugro!

Your role

  • You analyze business requirements for automating information flow across enterprise platforms;

  • You design robust integration algorithms/patterns for integrating Applications and developing API platform;

  • You produce comprehensive documentation, including functional and support manuals.

  • You advice on cost-efficient use of Azure components to manage operational expenditures (OPEX).

Your track record

  • You have a BSc or MSc degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field;

  • You have a strong understanding of C# / .Net development for writing and hosting APIs on App services and Azure Functions;

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated work experience in an international project-based company, and hands-on experience in Azure Integration Services (Services bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Functions);

  • Experience using hosting and managing API’s via Azure API Management;

  • Strong understanding of Web Services, OData v4 Web Services, JSON, and XML message formats;

  • You have the proven ability to establish, maintain and evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for both existing and new services;

  • You also have knowledge of building near real-time integrations;

  • As a plus, you have Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104/AZ-204/AZ-305, Azure Architect or TOGAF;

  • You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral
