Job Description
Responsibilities:
Ability to read and understand spatial and non-spatial data. Knowledge of topographical surveying, remote sensing and satellite image processing.
Ability to digitize and create maps, including preparation of heat maps. Knowledge of how to prepare contours, spot heights and elevation/terrain models.
Knowledge of commercial GIS software, with a preference for the ESRI suite of products, and CAD software, with a preference for AutoCAD.
Ensure that Fugro policies and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by all employees.
Requirements:
Must be a UAE national with a Family Book and have completed military service.
Degree in Geomatics or Remote Sensing/GIS. Applicants with a degree in Geology, Engineering or Data Science with emphasis in GIS will be considered.
Up to 2-years of experience
A good command of oral and written English language.
