Job Description
For our head office in Leidschendam, the Netherlands, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement & Supply Chain PMO Lead to join our Global Procurement & Supply Chain team. You will manage the P&SC PMO team and be responsible for the implementation of the P&SC Towards Full Potential programme. This role is critical in driving the successful execution of the Procurement & Supply Chain business transformation program.
Your role
You will lead and manage the P&SC PMO team, providing guidance and support. You will develop and maintain PMO strategies, governance policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
You will oversee the project portfolio, manage program execution, and ensure workstream objectives are delivered on time and within budget. You will create and monitor project baselines and manage project prioritization, budgeting, and resource allocation.
You will establish and enforce project & change management standards and continuously improve PMO processes. You will act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication with senior stakeholders and facilitate stakeholder engagement.
You will provide training and development opportunities for team members, promote a culture of continuous learning, and stay updated on industry trends. You will develop and maintain project performance metrics, prepare regular status reports, and conduct project closeouts.
You will identify, assess, and mitigate project & change risks, develop risk management plans, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
What you bring
You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project & Change Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
You have proven experience in Procurement and Supply Chain (e.g., including S&OP).
You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a PMO leadership role in an international environment.
You have a proven track record of managing large, complex projects and portfolios.
You have experience in developing and implementing PMO frameworks and methodologies.
You hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. Additional certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma are advantageous.
You have strong leadership and management skills, able to motivate others.
You have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
You are fluent in English and preferably one other language.
You are proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
You have strong analytical, priority setting, and problem-solving abilities.
You have a hands-on mentality and can manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
