Job Description

For our head office, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PMO Project Management Professional to join our team. The PMO Project Management Professional is responsible for supporting the PMO leader in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and align with the organization’s strategic objectives. This role involves overseeing project management processes, providing guidance to project teams, and ensuring adherence to PMO standards and methodologies.

Your role

You will develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinating and monitoring project activities to ensure timely delivery of milestones will be part of your responsibilities. You will facilitate project meetings and maintain effective communication among stakeholders.

Ensuring projects comply with PMO standards, conducting regular audits, and identifying and mitigating risks will be essential. You will assist in managing project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.

You will prepare and present project status reports to senior management, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and ensure accurate reporting of performance metrics. Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs, managing communications, and providing updates on progress will be crucial.

You will also provide training and support to project teams on PMO processes and methodologies, developing and delivering training materials and workshops to enhance project management capabilities within the organization.

What you bring

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Project & Change Management, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP certification is highly desirable.

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a PMO environment, and proven experience in Procurement & Supply chain.

  • You possess strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • You have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • You are proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You are fluent in English and preferably one other language.

  • You have a hands-on mentality.

  • This role typically operates in an office environment, with occasional travel to project sites as required.
