Job Description
We are excited to announce an opportunity at our HQ in Leidschendam for a Manager QA & Project Portfolio within the Global Application Services department. In this pivotal role, you will define, establish, and monitor governance processes within the department to ensure the smooth operation of the IT application lifecycle and other standardized processes within IT Application Services. Your focus will be on managing and enhancing the project portfolio process, as well as the test, release, and deployment processes. We are on a mission to deliver a service based IT model.
In the role you will be reporting to the Global Manager Application Services and you will lead a team of IT Project Managers. Within this role, you will ensure that our complex application environment adheres to the organization's security policies, best practices and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for managing, monitoring, governing, and executing all processes across the entire IT Application Services organization.
Your role:
You oversee and improve the Project & Portfolio Management process of the Department, and advise on project and resource prioritisation;
You coordinate and work on improving Quality Assurance, including testing, deployment & release management;
Your role will center on enhancing test and deployment processes by developing automation capabilities within our IT landscape and establishing a professional test and deployment team;
You are responsible for audit and control within the IT Application Services Department;
You define, implement and monitor new IT Governance processes to ensure the Application Life Cycle Process;
You are managing and coaching Project Managers;
You oversee Software Contract & License Management.
Your track record:
You have a Bsc or Msc degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field;
You have 5+ years of relevant experience in IT Governance, Business Operations or similar roles;
You have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders (stakeholder management);
You can identify and implement opportunities for organizational and governance improvements;
You can delegate, document and apply IT Governance processes according to ITILv4;
You are proficient in cross-team and client collaboration;
You have excellent English language skills both written and oral.
