Job Description

Expeditor

Join Fugro's EUAF Procurement & Supply Chain team in Nootdorp as an Expeditor. You play a key role in ensuring timely delivery of materials, components, and products to meet production schedules and customer demands. You also help improve our P2P process by effectively working with suppliers. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Your Role

  • You are the key communicator, resolving issues and preventing delays with internal teams, suppliers, and freight carriers. By collaborating with purchasing, production, and logistics teams, you'll boost supply chain efficiency.

  • You maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and delivery schedules, and discuss the quality of delivered goods with suppliers.

  • With your proactive approach you help identify and implement process improvements, while streamlining our operations.

  • You interact with suppliers and the business, sending reminders to ensure timely delivery, handling diverse communication related to deliveries and requests for quotations, and supporting the goods receipting process to complete the P2P loop.

Requirements

  • You have higher vocational education in a related field or are working towards a qualification.

  • You have proven experience as an expeditor or in a similar role, preferably with a minimum of 2 years in a multinational company.

  • Your have strong organisational and time-management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.

  • You work well independently and as part of a team.

  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
