Job Description

For our office in Leidschendam we are looking for a Cluster Lead who will be part of our Accounts Payable team within the Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC). The Accounts Payable team consists of 3 clusters, each of the clusters have designated AP Assistants and AP Accountants with each their own Cluster Lead.

Key objective of the role is to drive and motivate the team and to manage change.

Your role

  • You are responsible for the overall AP (Accounts Payable) process for multiple entities;

  • You deliver periodic AP reporting and assist with month-end closing and other tasks when necessary;

  • You provide support to AP Accountants/Assistants and are main point of contact for external suppliers and Fugro entities on AP related questions;

  • You take care of first level review of vendor master data, follow up on escalations and open items;

  • You continuously look for improvements in the AP process and management of AP.

  • You report to the AP Team Lead.

Your track record

  • You have a BSc degree in a financial discipline or certificate in Accounting;

  • You have 5+ years relevant working experience;

  • You have excellent knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus;

  • You have previous experience in leading, motivating, coaching and developing a team taking into account team performance & skill development and meeting stringent deadlines;

  • You have excellent communication skills at all organisational levels and an excellent command of the English language (written and spoken);

  • You are service and results oriented and are in the possession of a continuous process improvement mind set.
