Job Description

Join our Global IT team as a Release Manager and lead the deployment of enterprise applications across on a Global scale. In this role, you will design and implement new IT application standards and processes while coordinating project teams alongside business project managers. Be a key player in Shaping the future of Fugro’s IT landscape!

Your role

• Application Delivery: Ensure the delivery of mapped business processes supported by tested applications, with documented localizations and user procedures.

• Deployment Management: Manage deployment playbooks, ensuring the proper sequence of events during release processes. Create project plans, including milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.

• Compliance and Security: Ensure the technical landscape adheres to Fugro’s Global Data Privacy Compliance Principles and the Global Information Security Management System. Collaborate with Internal Audit to address IT-related risks and findings.

• Regulatory Compliance: Safeguard that enterprise applications comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Enterprise Applications: Oversee the release management lifecycle for enterprise applications such as IFS ERP, including scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases across the enterprise so they follow the global standards.

• Release Coordination: Lead and coordinate Go-Live activities, including the execution of deployment plans and checklists. Coordinate with project management, software development, quality assurance, operations, and other departments to ensure successful product delivery.

• Process Improvement: Continually work towards improving the release process. Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews.

• Documentation: Produce deployment run books and implementation plans. Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.

Your track record

• Education: BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Sciences, or a related field.

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in an international project-based company that operates heavy assets and/or related industries, and/or top-tier IT consultancy companies. 5+ years of relevant experience with applications implementations and project management.

• Skills: Excellent English language skills, both written and oral. Familiarity with enterprise applications such as IFS ERP is highly desirable. Experience with Agile methodologies and SAFe practices is a plus.

• Communication skills: you have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple job functions;
