Job Description
We are looking for a passionate UX designer with an eye for detail to join our team at VirGeo.
As part of Team VirGeo, you work on our innovative cloud-hosted platform. We seek to transform the way our clients interact with Geo-data. This platform serves as a single source of truth that helps our clients visually track project progress, gain early insights, and drive toward success – all in near real-time.
you are responsible for designing user-centric interfaces and experiences for this Geo-data engagement and collaboration platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and data scientists, to create seamless and engaging user experiences.
You create value by reducing complexities through solid UX design. The ability to move faster, more effectively, and more accurately affects our bottom line and, more importantly, the carbon footprints of our and our clients’ businesses.

Your role
Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points;
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications;
Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation;
Create and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across the platform;
Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback;
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and Geo-data visualization.
Your track record
Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field;
3-5 years of experience in UX design, preferably with a focus on data-driven platforms;
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar;
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies;
Experience with Geo-data visualization and mapping tools is a plus;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
