Key Accountabilities:-

A. Business Development

1. Actively engage with clients to generate leads, opportunities and sales of Fugro products and services in a country or business line.

2. Creating strong clientele base actively in Northern region, adding new clientele irrespective of regions and projects for Business development activity.

3. Lead sales and BD efforts on large, strategic client projects in close collaboration with proposal management and project management teams.

4. Produce factual & analytical reports on markets, leads opportunities, competitors etc in a timely manner.

5. Travel intensively & meet clients. Organising & managing conferences, seminars and technical presentation.

6. Collection of information from various sources (references, online, tender advertisement etc.) for client/consultants for devolving business.

7. Providing technical and commercial input for tenders / inquiries, and compilation of project procedures to make recommendations, including any supplementary investigations.

8. Lead medium to high complexity projects by applying effective communication, principles of project governance and control in such a way that the QHSE, technical, commercial & contractual requirements are met.

9. The role holder maintain Regional office, guest house and stores obliging to Fugro standards.

10. Attending events / conferences / convention and may participate on requirement.

11. Any other tasks assigned by top management from time to time, based on competency on mutual understanding on outcome.

B. Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Providing feedback to MD, all managers and staff of FGTL on daily basis as required.

2. Documentation /maintaining database as per ISO requirement.

3. Preparation of monthly/quarterly report database and maintaining the same.

4. Any other work assigned by organization from time to time, based on competency.

Qualifications Skills / Experience required:
•Civil Engineering Degree or higher Education from accredited college or university.
•Minimum 8+ years of practical experience in similar role.
•Self-motivated, pro-active, committed and flexible with strong problem-solving skills.
•Commercial and Business acumen
•Ability to work effectively in a multi-national and multi-cultural work environment.

HSE Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so
