Job Description

For our Global Application Services team we are looking for a Project Manager. Within this role, you are responsible for IT projects from initiation to formal close-out. You ensure that the Project Delivery Framework (PDF) is adhered to with proper stage gates and sign-off. You report to the Global Applications IT Business Excellence Manager, who is part of the Global Application Services organisation.

Your role

  • You are responsible for the creation of project plans including milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources;

  • You manage project organisation and governance;

  • You are responsible for the implementation of IT applications adhering to business processes and supported by IT operations with documented localisations and user procedures;

  • You ensure that IT projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;

  • You prepare continuous project status reports and conduct post-project evaluations;

  • You perform quality control on the project throughout the life cycle to maintain the standards expected;

  • You perform risk management to minimize project related risks;

  • You operate in a cross functional team in meeting stakeholder expectations and project deliverables.

Your track record

  • You have a relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably complemented with Project Management qualifications an you bring 3-5 or more years of relevant working experience within project management in a large, international organization. Ideally, you are also experienced in change management;

  • You have proven experience leading and managing large and complex projects and you have a sound knowledge of PMI and/or Prince2 and working experience in Waterfall. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is a plus;

  • You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral;

  • You have the ability to understand high level software and systems;

  • You also have excellent communication skills on a technical and non-technical level and able to collaborate across functions and organisational levels (business management, project management, stakeholders);

  • You are a self-starter, well organized and are able to take ownership and initiative.
