Job Description

For our office in Leidschendam, the Netherlands, we are seeking a System Data Entry Specialist. As a CMS Administrator you advise on and support systems managed by the Computerised Management System (CMS) Department for Fleet Services (FS) on a global level, both on and offshore, in line with the Fleet Services global standards and guidelines. In this role you are part of a motivated team which takes care of the administrative support for the vessel management department in registration of equipment data, document control and inventory setup.

Your role

  • You support the team on a variety of administrative tasks and take care of the filing of manuals, drawings, vessel related documents and the creation of materials (spare parts and consumables);

  • You are the first point of contact for users and act as a gatekeeper of uploaded data and contribute to the upload and processing of new build and project documentation;

  • You execute administration and processing of tickets in our helpdesk system;

  • You monitor the implementation of management systems and ensure effective teamwork with fleet management on a local and global level;

  • You contribute to a fit for purpose, fully functional computerised management system and ensure vessel management complies with international legislative/regulatory requirements;

  • You provide input for CMS policies and procedures, the CMS department budget and for periodical CMS reports.

Your track record

  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a similar administrative role in an international environment;

  • You have experience with creating and managing data in ERP systems;

  • You have the ability to interact with a variety of people, know how to build strong relationships and are experienced with supporting both internal and external clients;

  • You are accurate, demonstrate ownership, are highly service minded and able to work in a repetitive role;

  • You actively focus on achieving sustainable result, and strive for success and operational excellence;

  • You have excellent communication and reporting skills in English (verbal and written).
