Job Description

For our office in Nootdorp we are looking for a digital product manager. As a Geo-data company, Fugro involves various data acquisition, processing, and delivery steps to deliver its services to customers. As a Product Manager Geo-Data Digitalization for our File Management Workflow, you will play a crucial role being the voice of our business. Our operations are spread across the globe and our ambition is to serve our operations with common automated workflow from planning to acquiring data, processing and eventually delivering it to our customer.

You have end-to-end ownership of the file management workflow(s), focusing on automating processes to optimize the delivery of Geo-data efficiently and swiftly. You collaborate with stakeholders across the company, including operational teams, commercials, and support, to lead a continuous discovery process that aligns product development with organizational needs and business goals.

You are the ideal candidate if you employ a user-centric approach, engaging closely with users to understand their needs and iteratively improve the file management product through continuous feedback.

As a product manager, you work closely with product owners, design, subject matter experts and solution architects to ensure usability, business viability, and technical feasibility of their workflow. They will make sure that the workflows are built to user needs and fully adopted and scaled in organization.

Your role

  • You define the business and technology vision of your workflow in collaboration with different domain experts, business representatives, solution architect and lead engineers;

  • You lead the whole process from workflow discovery, build, adopt and run cycle during the discovery phase map the current workflow process in various global regions and define a to be standard;

  • You make sure that the assumptions and designs are validated before major build investment.

  • You guide the delivery teams towards the required workflows;

  • You create continuous discovery and improvement process to feed in the requirements from the users and set the necessary prioritization criteria in the delivery phase;

  • You organize the adoption of the workflows in various Fugro regions globally with clear rollout plans and support;

  • You define OKR for your workflow and govern it with stakeholders.

Your track record

  • You have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in similar roles;

  • You show experience with product management of integrated systems where you successfully managed a product from ideation through a successful adoption;

  • You are able to define business value and control the value against cost overtime;

  • You have experience with products that manage large volume of data in file formats;

  • You have experience and perseverance to discover through entire lifecycle management of digital products;

  • You have the ability to manage key stakeholders and lead organizational change;

  • You have experience with the organization of file data backbone on edge and cloud systems;

  • Understanding of AI tagging, searching, and contextualizing files would be an advantage.
