About the Role:
As a Proposal Specialist in the Seawatch Service Line and the Commercial Team of the Seawatch Center of Excellence, you will administrate and participate in the preparation and delivery of high-quality technical and commercial proposals and quotes to meet our clients’ needs across the Europe-Africa region. Our clients primarily consist of energy companies (mainly offshore wind), infrastructure developers, research and academic institutions and, marine, environmental and meteorological governmental agencies and institutes.
Key Responsibilities:
Review tender documents to accurately assess client requirements and needs.
Liaise with relevant Fugro regions, personnel, departments, service lines, and external suppliers to develop proposal content that is high-quality, accurate and in accordance with client requirements.
Generate prequalification documents, coordinate the development, completion and submission of responses to client queries with minimum supervision and under strict deadlines.
Assist the aftersales function by generating quotes and coordinating the purchase order workflow.
Assist the sales function along the L2C process using Fugro's Customer Relationship Management system and commercial management procedures.
Conducting market research and identifying and monitoring proposal opportunities across multiple print and digital media platforms.
Manage client vendor portal registrations.
Support the sales function of the Commercial Department and participate in marketing/promotional activities.

Qualifications:
Education in technical subjects (e.g., marine technology, coastal or ocean engineering, oceanography, meteorology, mathematics, physics, marine sciences, or similar).
Excellent knowledge of Norwegian and English (verbal and written).
Strong administrative skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and work well under demanding deadlines and pressure.
Proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
Job experience with international tenders is an advantage.
