We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of our IT infrastructure and are currently seeking a highly skilled and authoritative Senior IT Support Engineer to join our Global IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing our global end-user workplace. As a Senior IT Engineer at Fugro, you will ensure our clients' IT environments run smoothly. Your technical expertise will enable you to solve complex issues, provide custom solutions, and maintain a stable and secure workspace. Your main responsibilities will include third-line work such as resolving complex problems and managing non-standard changes. Additionally, you will focus on proactive management, monitoring, and further shaping our services. All activities are done in a team and coordinated by you, the Senior IT Engineer.

Your role

• You manage, plan and coordinate the hardware and software lifecycle keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront. You set up, monitor and fine-tune an improvement roadmap and maintain an annual service delivery plan;

• You optimize and manage the end-user environment, ensuring devices and services are efficient, secure and up to date;

• You handle device settings, software distribution, lifecycle management, service improvement and technical support to provide an excellent work experience for employees;

• You serve as the third-level escalation point, expertly helping to resolve complex issues;

• You define the settings and security of our end-user devices using tools like Group Policies, SCCM and InTune;

• You oversee and report on service levels, proactively handling service risks and exceptions and ensure smooth operations through coordination with customers and IT staff/suppliers;

• You create and continually update technical documentation and operating procedures to keep everyone informed and prepared;

• You recommend innovative solutions to enhance the workplace experience.

Your track record

• You have relevant experience in a senior role in enterprise end user computing;

• You have experience in working with platform management tools such as SCCM, InTune and working with Group Policies;

• You have a clear and concise way of communicating and are able to motivate others, promoting a clear sense of purpose and a positive attitude to work with individuals, teams and stakeholders;

• You are able to connect policy, innovation projects and operational business;

• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
