Job Description

As part of the Marine Site Characterisation Project Management support pool, the Project Planner will develop and maintain the baseline schedules for the projects supported.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

  • Develops and maintains project baseline schedules (MS Projects)

  • Incorporates sub-contractor schedules in baseline schedules.

  • Establishes and maintains schedule updates as well as reporting routines.

  • Develops, maintains data summary dashboards with information such as progress, critical path status, impact of deviations, etc.

  • Maintains open communication with project stakeholders, provides updates / reporting.

  • Reviews the performance of baseline updates/ revisions, applying scheduling and planning techniques to analyze results as required.

  • Compiles and analyzes scenario plans based on events or potential issues / clash points to understand available options and consequences.

  • Integrates availability schedules for people, equipment, and other resources throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Consolidates and reports relevant information about project performance through reports of progress, both internal and external

  • Elaborates service measurement, consolidating the operational and technical evidence accordingly.

  • Supports the preparation of documentation related to contractual claims.

  • Supports the Project Manager in the change management process.

  • Conducts the process of continuous improvement in the project (classification of downtimes, conduction of investigation with the team, action plan monitoring)

  • Inputs information in the relevant systems to project management, resources and teams.

  • Analyzes and evaluates the indicators, acting proactively in the discussion about the actions of improvement, in addition to training field teams in the use of control tools.

  • Keeps the Project Manager informed in time of schedule changes and supports him / her on corrective action decisions.

Job Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions

  • Role relevant Project planning experience in part or in full

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project

  • A collaborative worker who interfaces effectively across the business

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,

  • Analytical skills and a strong ability to work with detail and accuracy

  • Effective planning and organizing, adapts to changing and competing priorities with fast 24/7 paced global business.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role in the Energy Sector

  • CAPM or PMP certification a plus

  • University Degree in Business or Technical Field preferred
