Global Fleet Operations Director 
Are you ready to steer your career in a dynamic and impactful direction? Fugro is seeking a Global Fleet Operations Director to lead our fleet management organization operationally.

Your role

• You will report directly to the Global Director for Fleet Services and are a member of the Fleet MT ;

• You are responsible, in close cooperation with the Fleet Operational MT, that Global Operational standards are defined, embedded in the management system and successfully implemented;

• You ensure that these standards support the core business of Fugro in the best possible way;

• You make sure that the Operational Fleet Management organization runs and operates the Fugro vessels in line with Fugro’s core values, including the aim of zero harm to humans and the environment;

• You Ensure efficient & reliable vessels with required availability are provided at all times, as such that the operational time is maximized when the vessels are assigned to a project;

• As a Global Fleet Operations Director you lead the operational fleet management organization of Fugro globally for our geotechnical and geophysical vessels;

• You are part of the fleet management team and Responsible for guiding the Operational Management Team;

• You direct the Regional Fleet Managers in their daily activities and making sure they have the right resources;

• You are responsible, with support from Fleet Services Legal Team, that management contract for the services of Fleet Services are in place to ensure corporate compliance .

Your track record

• You have a Bachelor degree in a maritime related discipline and previous experience as e.g. Fleet Manager;

• You have proven experience in global fleet management and a commitment to safety;

• You have 8+ years working experience both Offshore and Onshore and previous management experience;

• You have a strong client awareness, know how to build strong relationships and are experienced with supporting both internal and external clients;

• You have a passion for success, you strive for operational excellence and actively focus on achieving sustainable results;

• You take ownership and initiative, acting with confidence, with the ability to make prompt and clear decisions, which may involve tough choices or considered risk;

• You have excellent communication and reporting skills in English (verbal and written).
