Job Description

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Geospatial Project Lead with a keen willingness to learn and grow in project management to join our established team of experts. Based in our Perth or Brisbane office, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Managing projects from data acquisition to delivery using cutting edge technology acquiring and processing GNSS, LiDAR and Imagery data;

  • Client interfacing, delivering, and reporting, invoicing with a focus on understanding client’s data needs and risks;

  • Working in collaboration with the business development team and other entities to ensure project delivery aligns with budget, quality and schedule requirements;

  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement and fit-for-purpose solutions.

This role is part of Fugro’s Land team of experts in Inspections and Monitoring, who provide cutting edge solutions within the fields of geospatial and analytics to clients across a wide range of industries including power utilities, government, renewable energy, infrastructure, water and climate and nature.

  • LiDAR and Imagery data for flood mitigation

  • LiDAR and Imagery data for transmission and distribution lines

  • Pole top inspections

  • Data visualization and analytics

About You

Your success in securing this role will require:

  • Tertiary degrees or relevant industry experience in geo-data, geospatial, GIS and surveying is highly beneficial;

  • Understanding of geospatial sensors such as GNSS, LiDAR and Imagery or GIS services is desirable;

  • Strong interpersonal skills in clients interfacing and relationships management across all levels;

  • Demonstrating problem-solving skills and proactivity in continuously looking for learning and improvements.
