Climate & Nature is a dedicated market-focused team tasked to expand Fugro’s business in coastal resilience, ocean health and inland water management, an essential pillar of the “Towards Full Potential” strategy and driving Fugro’s purpose “Together we create a safe and liveable world”.
The Market Solutions Director Climate & Nature is tasked with creating a winning solutions portfolio and delivering market-focused technologies and products for Climate & Nature, to drive and support the envisioned business growth. The Market Solutions Director leads the wider Fugro Climate & Nature technology portfolio, including products and services of Metocean, Hydrography and OWF Biodiversity, Virgeo and Earth Observation.
Your role
You apply a visionary innovative approach to grow the solution, and guide the innovation programs and product owners commensurate with client and business needs;
You develop the solutions sales & marketing plan to achieve profitable growth and support execution of the plan;
You develop and implement commercial model / global pricing strategies for the solutions;
You drive commercial uptake through relevant involvement in relevant proposal strategies, account planning and providing support to the (cross-) regional business development team.
You support the implementation of delivery excellence related to the operationalisation of the solution in the service lines.
You inform and drive the relevant Fugro product family roadmaps for C&N application
You contribute to the Climate & Nature strategy by understanding market trends and client needs
You identify, investigate and develop technology partnerships
You create alternative funding mechanisms for technology and business development
Your track record
You have a MSc degree in a Geo-data related discipline
You have at least 8 years of experience, ideally in an international project-based company and/or related industries;
You have a proven track record of managing by influence
You have a proven track record of commercialising new products and services
You have managed large multi-disciplinary projects
Preferably you have a business degree
Preferably you have a degree or professional training in Climate and/ore environmental studies.
You have excellent leadership skills and are able to manage projects and resources;
You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
