Job Purpose:

Plan and develop the project idea, as every project starts as an idea. Monitor project progress and set deadlines. Resolve issues related to projects and client queries, and monitor leaks. Ensure stakeholder satisfaction, evaluate project performance, and introduce innovative techniques to achieve operational excellence. Work across various regions, coordinate cross-functional teams, handle multiple projects at a time, and deliver projects ahead of schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pressuremeter tests: Perform in-situ testing to measure soil properties and assess ground conditions.

  • Calibrate and maintain equipment: Ensure all pressuremeter equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for accurate readings.

  • Data collection: Collect data during tests to determine soil characteristics.

  • Ensure safety compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe operation of equipment and testing procedures.

  • Assist in site investigations: Work with geotechnical engineers during site investigations to provide accurate soil data.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues: Identify and resolve any issues with pressuremeter equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Coordinate with team members: Communicate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

  • Stay updated on industry standards: Keep abreast of the latest developments and standards in geotechnical testing and pressuremeter technology.

HSE Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so.
