Job Description

For our Leidschendam office we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our enthusiastic international team. In this varied role you collaborate closely with Project Managers, AP and GL Accountants in relation to their allocated entities and you report directly to the AR Supervisor of the Fugro Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC).

Your role

  • You review outgoing invoices in conjunction with the project leader. You also prepare and issue intercompany invoices;

  • You manage the collection of overdue accounts receivables and ensure operations within agreed credit limits;

  • You communicate with and remind customers by phone and email of their outstanding amounts. You also arrange and follow up on payment agreements with customers;

  • When required, you hand over accounts to a debt collection agency and maintain contact on progress. Debt write-offs are actioned in accordance with approved policies;

  • You prepare balance sheet reconciliations and report progress on overdue accounts.

What you bring along

  • You have a degree in in Business and Administration or Accounting or equivalent experience;

  • You are fluent in both English and Dutch, additional languages are a plus;

  • You have 3 or more years of experience in a similar position;

  • You are familiar with ERP systems. Knowledge of Navision is an advantage.
