Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Mechatronics Engineer with a strong background in Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and (subsea) robotics to join our team.
Our innovative eROV’s are widely celebrated within the maritime industry. Our products are used for subsea inspections, seafloor mapping and environmental monitoring. Using our eROV’s reduces operational costs, human risks, and CO2 emissions.
As our Mechatronics Engineer, you are responsible for the design, integration and testing of mechatronic systems and solutions to enhance our robotic systems. Integrating knowledge from mechanical, electrical and software engineering is key. Being creative in finding and solving issues with both hardware and electrical challenges is essential to the role
You find yourself in a multidisciplinary team consisting of multiple nationalities. You work closely with the Team Lead, Engineering Manager and other engineers to ensure high performance and reliability for the product.

Your role
You are responsible for the design of new eROV equipment, and the improvement of our current equipment;
You take care of the design drawings, and you accompany the construction process;
You stay connected with suppliers, and you write instruction manuals and (test) procedures;
Conduct protype testing and have an agile testing methodology, occasional travel is involved for testing;
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in ROV technology.
Your track record
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics engineering or a related field;
You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience;
You have experience working with 3D-CAD systems;
Proven experience in electrical and mechanical design, specifically for ROVs or Robotics;
Creative problem solving, being able to collaborate with others and practical experience in similar situations is important in this role;
You are fluent in English.
