Job Description

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and make a significant impact in the world of geo-data engineering? We are looking for a passionate and experienced Client Deliverables Team Leader to join our MSC (Marine Site Characterisation) team and drive excellence in quality, productivity, and employee satisfaction.

Your Role:

As a Client Deliverables Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage a talented team of Geo-data Engineers, Scientists, Consultants, Supervisors, and large, complex operations teams.

  • Provide Expertise: Offer specialised engineering and geo-science advice across multiple disciplines.

  • Develop Solutions: Collaborate with your team to contextualise acquired geo-data and develop innovative solutions.

  • Adapt Strategically: Adjust departmental plans and priorities to meet evolving needs.

  • Set Standards: Define and uphold team standards to ensure optimal cooperation and performance.

  • Foster Teamwork: Promote a culture of collaboration and mutual support within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountability for Team Results: Ensure your team meets departmental goals and targets.

Technical Expertise: Provide engineering and geo-science advice across multiple specialised disciplines.

Solution Development: Work with your team to develop solutions by contextualising acquired geo-data.

Strategic Adaptation: Adapt departmental plans and priorities as needed. Standard Definition: Establish and maintain team standards.

Team Cooperation: Promote and contribute to optimal cooperation within the department.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a group of Geo-data Engineers, Scientists, Consultants, Supervisors, and/or large, complex operations teams.

  • Conduct performance and development reviews (PPDs).

  • Make recommendations regarding employee development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Geo-Data engineering or related fields.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Experience with high-value projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and departmental needs.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
