Fugro is looking for a Field Project Supervisor to manage all aspects of field operations for large scale field survey services as assigned in support of land-based remote sensing, mapping, and aerial surveying.

The opportunity would interact with Fugro’s project management team, leadership, and client relations. You would manage daily operation of field crews in completion of various survey projects throughout the United States.

This opportunity will not provide relocation assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

• Manage daily operations of field crews, including subcontract crews, in completion of various survey projects

• Coordinate daily project requirements from Project Managers and clients

• Review the field collected survey data, on a daily basis, to ensure project requirements are met

• Research survey control and geodetic requirements for projects

• Process GPS data for control surveys

• Maintain knowledge of the FLI-MAP processing software

• Support FLI-MAP data collection (i.e. base station support) as necessary

• Advise client on all aspects of the survey component of the project

• Provide written daily progress reports and project reports detailing project specifics

• Coordinate all administrative and logistical issues with Field Operations Manager

Job Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.

• Possess or can obtain a valid passport and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.

• Must possess or be able to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in GIS, LiDAR, Remote Sensing or similar degree plan is highly preferred.

• Possess at minimum 5 years of experience in surveying or aerial data acquisition is preferred.

• Proficient in GPS processing and data evaluation utilizing specialized software; experience with Applianix, POSPac, NovAtel POSGNSS, or Trimble Business Center a plus

• Experience with MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel); familiarity with CAD software

• Must have excellent and effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Must be capable of working in an organized fashion under pressure

• Must be able to work independently without supervision
