Job Description

For our Rail business line, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive Fugro’s continued growth. Based at our office in Utrecht, the Netherlands, you will spearhead efforts to shape new opportunities and build strategic relationships in this dynamic industry alongside a team of four other business development professionals. While leading the team, you will also personally develop business opportunities in the Nordics.

This role is crucial in establishing the foundation for key account management in our focus markets, starting in Europe but with an eye on opportunities in other ‘Fugro countries’ as well. With untapped potential for innovative business propositions, you will design and implement sales initiatives targeted at major clients, including asset owners, contractors, and engineering firms. Collaboration is key in this position. Your creativity and vision will inspire groundbreaking ideas to effectively market products and services, while your structured and methodical approach ensures flawless execution. Ultimately, your mission will be to lead business development and sales of Fugro’s cutting-edge, data-driven rail survey and asset management solutions, unlocking opportunities in a market ripe for growth. Be prepared for 30–50% travel to manage and develop sales strategies across the regions.
