Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chemist/WDXRF Technician to join our team in Dammam, KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses using Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (WDXRF) technology, with a focus on mining samples, including gold and environmental materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform chemical analyses on mining samples using WDXRF technology.
Prepare and process samples for testing, ensuring accuracy and precision.
Interpret and report analytical results, maintaining detailed records.
Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of WDXRF equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory.
Collaborate with other team members to improve testing methods and procedures.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in XRF technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the mining industry.
Proficiency in using WDXRF technology for chemical analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a laboratory environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with gold and environmental sample analysis.
Familiarity with other analytical techniques and instrumentation.
