Job Description
Fugro’s geological and geophysical survey services provide value to your project, either alone or as a key component of an integrated site characterization effort to gain insight into ground conditions. The information helps to understand the nature and variability of ground conditions at a site or along a corridor, guide the development of your targeted site investigation program, determine specific engineering properties, and for assessment of ground risks.
As a Sales Professional in the Geophysics Department, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Fugro's geophysical products and services. You will develop strategic relationships, generate leads, and achieve financial growth.
Job Responsibilities
Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
Develop and maintain strategic and commercial relationships with key accounts.
Actively engaged with clients to generate leads, opportunities, and sales.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the financial goals of the geophysics department.
Support marketing activities to enhance Fugro's market position.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective communication strategies.
Use smart pricing techniques during client visits and presentations.
Work closely with internal staff on the development of proposals.
Express benefits vs features during all client-facing interactions.
Communicate and coordinate with project management and senior management regarding account activity, industry trends, and sales opportunities.
Ensure proposals align with client needs and Fugro's business objectives.
Collaborate with project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Geotechnical/Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in geophysics or a related industry.
Experience with developing and managing strong client relationships.
A strong understanding of geophysical products and services is desired.
Have experience with CRM tools
Excellent and effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proven track record of strong negotiation skills
Effective time management skills
Currently hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
Currently hold or can obtain a passport for international travel requirements
This role will involve travel up to 50% of the time.
