Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for various projects. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, cost and financial targets.

  • Manage highly complex, high value, long duration projects, or a portfolio of complex projects which are spanning across service lines. This includes overall project P&L responsibility.

  • Provide a proactive decision-support service to project management teams, ensuring that any alternative execution strategies are properly evaluated for cost and schedule impacts. This includes any management of variation orders from clients that will have a time and/or cost impact on the project.

  • Able to flag any significant project risks and ensure necessary level of detail to be gathered and disseminated to wider team allowing for an affective review and management of these risks. Coordinate and advise upon the resolution of significant project risks.

  • Work together with the Project Managers, Project Coordinators and PMO to collate and present baseline versus forecasts actual project performance reviews (financial, operational, QHSSE) as per corporate standards.

  • Provide periodic performance reports to Senior Management on overall project performance and seek authorization for project decisions in excess of authorized remit.

  • Provide Leadership to Project Management teams, ensuring execution strategies are properly evaluated for risk, including but not limited to cost, schedule, quality, safety and other project opportunities and liabilities. Nurture and develop a culture of accountability within the project management team.

  • Provide support when require to the Project Managers and is involved in a supervisory, coaching and mentoring capacity in the daily management of projects.

  • Involvement in the continual improvement processes in the Business Line and a proactive support to implementing various initiatives within the Business Line.

  • Build effective relationships with other personnel of the Project Management function in their region and business line, feed into processes and assist in the development of the Project Management forums and documentation.

Requirement:

  • Relevant degree in technical discipline with more than 12 years of project management experience.

  • Understanding of Geophysical and Geotechnical survey operations.

  • Certified Project Management is preferred, but not mandatory.

  • Must be proficient in English.

  • Ability to work remotely.

  • Ability to engage in offshore / overseas site visits.

  • Ability to pass offshore medical / offshore certificate.
