Job Summary

Shortlisted candidate will get the opportunity to work as Software Engineer on the design and production of our Next Generation subsea robotics products.

We are transitioning from our industry standard, human operated, hydraulic underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) towards a highly autonomous ROV supervised from one of our remote operating centers.

About the role

The robotics software engineer will work in a team of experienced development engineers on the ROV control system, working closely together with oversees R&D centers, internal production teams and global operational teams.

Development of Control system includes:

• Machine Learning products using machine vision.

• Situational Awareness to enable autonomous tasks subsea.

• User interface design.

• Software development using ROS2 and C/C++/C#

• Gazebo robot simulation

• Agile/Scrum, TDD and CI

About you

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or Electronics Engineering.

• C/C++/C# programming

• Qt, Linux, cross-platform software development.

• Candidate with major in robotics, automation or autonomous systems would be beneficial
