Performance assessment and monitoring

Performance assessment is a key step in our HSSE management process. It's also the basis of our continuous efforts to improve.

Meeting the requirements

• ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety)

• ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)

• ISM codes (International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships)

Active and reactive monitoring

Both types of monitoring play an essential role in the HSSE management control loop.

Active monitoring entails audits, inspections, reviews, and performance targets. This lets us find gaps and systemic issues. And ensures we conform to the Fugro standards, and business unit procedures and operations.

Reactive monitoring gives us information on incidents, including near-misses and other non-conformances. We take what we've learned and incorporate it into our standards and procedures.
