Job Description

For our GNSS innovation team, we are looking for an ambitious Innovation Test Engineer. At Fugro, we readily tap into the potential of our global network of reference stations, monitoring satellite signals and correcting their accuracy. Why? So, we can provide our clients with precise, reliable, and real-time insights about the project site. Everything clients need to support precise positioning and safe navigation.

As our Test Engineer, you support various projects on satellite positioning with functional, regression and performance testing. While you are part of the GNSS team, you work closely with test engineers and QA managers from other teams to ensure a high-quality testing environment.

Your role

  • You define and execute functional, performance and regression tests;

  • You introduce and maintain test documentation and reporting systems;

  • You are responsible for the automation of existing tests and maintenance of test automation environment;

  • You monitor the performance of Fugro Satellite Positioning solutions;

  • You take part in integration testing of Fugro Satellite Positioning software in 3rd party products;

  • You cooperate with different Satellite Positioning Innovation teams in testing activities.

Your track record

  • You have 3 years of proven experience in software testing;

  • You have experience in software test automation and knowledge of test automation tools;

  • Excellent communication skills in English;

It is considered a plus if you

  • Have experience with Atlassian Jira;

  • Have knowledge of Python and experience in scripting;

  • Have knowledge of CI/CD workflows and Gitlab;

  • Have knowledge of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and experience with using GNSS receivers.
