Job Profile Title : Associate Manager Proposals

Job Purpose:

Associate Manager Proposals – Shall be responsible for the preparation of tenders and proposals under the guidance and advice of the Proposal Manager and Commercial Manager. Responsible for proposal development, from the initial analysis of client requirements to the preparation and submission of the proposal. Develops cost analysis, Cash flow projections, and assesses risks and opportunities related to the proposal requirements. Responsible for the initial review of contractual terms proposed by the client, ensuring alignment with Fugro’s Golden Rules.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Review RFQ/ Tender/ Bid enquiry

  • Coordinate with subject specialist for appropriate solution/ deliverables.

  • Coordinate with discipline specialist Input (Contract / legal support, Tax, Insurance, HSSE, Logistics and Procurement).

  • Prepare Bid Clarifications and Risk assessment.

  • Prepare summary of lessons learned from similar projects executed in past.

  • Compile proposals / bids, whilst monitoring submission dates and possible over-runs.

  • Preparing Cash flow, Project Control Workbook and Approval presentation.

  • Maintain Bid folder and Avalon records throughout the bid phases.

  • Assist in Bid submission( email/ hardcopy/ e-portals).

  • Follow up on a regular basis with clients after submission of proposals.

  • Project handover to Project Manager with relevant documents on award of contract.

  • Assist Project Managers and Business Line Managers at project start-up in understanding of project budgets and cash flows.

  • Advice Commercial Managers and Business Line Managers on specific aspects that need to be considered in proposal development stage.

  • Upgrade knowledge on technical solutions related to Business.

  • Maintain tender documents with assistance of Tender Coordinator.

CRM & Presentations:

  • He/she will be required to support Commercial managers for preparing presentations, updating CRM database.

Tracking Tenders:

  • Keep track of upcoming / ongoing tenders in the market and update on win / loss decision reason in CRM database.

Reinforce Fugro brand:

  • Maintain communication channels & social media, Create corporate media (photos, graphics and videos etc.)

Support to Business Line & Commercial:

  • Assist in formalizing strategy, preparing approval presentation and cash flow.

HSE Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so.
