Position overview

As an Events Coordinator at Fugro, you’ll be at the heart of planning, organising, and executing a diverse range of events that drive our strategic sales and marketing initiatives across Europe and Africa. Reporting directly to the Regional Events Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with our business teams to bring their vision to life and deliver impactful events that generate leads and build brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Planning:

Together with the Regional Events Manager develop event plans and ensure the project management platform (Wrike) is maintained for all events including tracking tasks and deadlines and the creation of final close-out reports.

Management:

Support the Regional Events Manager with the delivery of events including booth design, event logistics, event setup and operations, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Collaboration:

Regular interaction with Business Line and Service Line Managers, the Business Development Team and Global and Regional Communications Team to ensure all stakeholders are up to date with the progress of tasks as part of the event plans.

Budget and finance:

Help to create event budgets, manage payments and monitor agreements between Fugro and the suppliers to ensure best value.

Campaign management:

Together with the Regional Events Manager and in line with global guidelines, develop and implement event campaigns that use several channels including digital platforms, traditional media and socials. Integrate all relevant data sources and metrics into unified dashboard(s) for marketing decision-making

Internal Communications:

Ensure that the EUAF regional events webpages are being kept up to date with relevant internal and external content in line with the global guidelines and in coordination with the Regional Events Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or associated discipline ideally events management, or a related field

  • Proven experience (1- 3 years), preferably in a B2B setting

  • Proficient in industry-standard software (Microsoft, Canva etc.)

  • Excellent attention to detail with experience managing project budgets

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) – fluent in English.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience with animation and motion graphics

  • Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies and customer journeys
