Job Description
For our Leidschendam office we are looking for a Global Supply Chain Management Business Process Expert (BPE) for its Center of Excellence, responsible for developing a One Way of Working across 200+ entities worldwide.
This role is pivotal in optimizing Project-Based Procurement, enhancing Inventory functionality, improving Purchase Agreements & Blanket Orders, and strengthening the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes within the IFS solution.
This role includes engaging regularly with the wider SCM dept as well as the HR, Projects, and Finance departments for any cross-stream requirements, and stakeholders around the business locally, regionally, or globally.
Key Responsibilities
Process Standardization: Drive uniformity across Fugro’s global supply chain operations, ensuring consistency in procurement and inventory processes.
Strategic Advisory: Support Business Process Owners (BPOs) in formulating continuous improvement strategies for procurement, inventory management, and P2P processes.
Project-Based Procurement Optimization: Develop best practices for procurement workflows tailored to project-driven supply chain models.
Inventory Management Enhancements: Improve inventory tracking, functionality, and control mechanisms within the IFS solution.
Purchase Agreements & Blanket Orders: Strengthen global contracting frameworks while ensuring regional flexibility.
Training & Process Flow Development: Design training material and process flows to equip implementation and rollout teams with standardized methodologies.
P2P Process Optimization: Improve end-to-end procure-to-pay cycles, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and business alignment.
ERP Standardization in IFS: Ensure seamless standardization and integration of IFS solutions across Fugro entities.
Your track record
You have a Bsc or Msc degree in financial management or Supply Chain or related field;
You have 5+ years of relevant experience in an international project-based company, and you have experience working for or in a Supply Chain department;
You have relevant experience with project management and implementing ERP systems;
Ability to work in a multi-entity, global, fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders;
You have excellent English language skills both written and oral.
