Job Description
Are you ready to take your insurance career to the next level? We're on the lookout for a dynamic Insurance Specialist to join our insurance department in Leidschendam. In this role, you'll be the linchpin in maintaining relationships with our global business units. Under the guidance of our Director of Insurance, you'll play a crucial part in renewing our group insurance covers and managing claims with both internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and insurers. Reporting directly to the Global Insurance Manager, you'll interact with top-tier (re)insurers, brokers, consultants, and senior management within Fugro.
Your Role:
You will lead the collection of underwriting information, assess data, and prepare market submission documentation for our non-life insurance program.
You will assist the Director of Insurance in preparing and negotiating terms and conditions for Fugro’s global non-life insurance program.
You will work closely with service providers to manage claims efficiently.
You will develop and refine Fugro’s corporate insurance management guidelines and reporting processes.
You will foster and sustain long-term relationships with key international insurance markets.
You will select, manage, and review service providers to ensure top-quality service and cost efficiency.
What You Bring:
You have a bachelor’s degree and relevant insurance certifications (WFT).
You have several years of experience in insurance or brokerage within a corporate setting, with a preference for Marine insurance.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
You have a persistent, results-driven attitude with a commitment to operational excellence.
You have strong communication skills, particularly with senior management.
You have excellent proficiency in English, with Dutch being a plus.
